In 2011 William directed his first short film CHRIST'S DOG. It was written by Howard Barker and nominated for Best Short Film at the Hamburg International Independent Film Festival. This was the first time that Barker had ever been produced on film.
In April 2013 William won the Sundance London Short Film Competition, with his second short film 'BEST' written by Adam Brace. In January 2014 it had its US premiere at the Sundance Festival, Park City.
Last summer William shot an experimental piece, IN MIDWICKEDNESS, in Georgia which premiered at the Tbilisi International Film Festival, 2013, and he has just been accepted to develop his first feature film, LADY MACBETH, through iFeatures. He joins producer Fodhla Cronin O'Reilly and writer Alice Birch.
